Playworks Educare is a combination of early childhood education and contracted care for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age.

Curriculum based programs that offer age appropriate activities involve the following learning centers:

• Art
• Music & Movement
• Dramatic Play
• Construction & Blocks
• Science & Discovery
• Math & Problem Solving
• Sensory
• Language & Reading
• Fine Motor Manipulatives
• Large Motor
• Computer

Educare is divided by age groups into ‘pods’ (classrooms). There are three separate Educare programs that are divided out by age groups:

• Educare Pods 1-4 (Located at the main Playworks building)
  • Pod 1 = Infants
  • Pod 2 = Toddlers
  • Pod 3 = Young Preschool
  • Pod 4 = Preschool
• School Age/Summer Camp (Located at the main Playworks building in the lower level of the LINK)
  • Pre-Kindergarten
  • Kindergarten through age 12
• Pod 5 (Located in the lower level of the SMSC Community Center)
  • Infants
  • Toddlers
  • Preschool
